Anoka Equine Veterinary Services Ltd.
As owner and manager of a 9 doctor veterinary practice specializing in horses, I was overwhelmed with the human resource needs of this growing practice. In addition to the veterinary staff, we have up to 40 support staff in secretarial, technical, custodial and veterinary assistant staff positions. The practice needed an organized structure to screen and select potential employees, evaluate and train existing employees, and we needed a fair, consistent and legally defensive method of determining compensation rates and merit increase adjustments.
